The EJE-R series of junction box enclosure, made from a lightweight durable polyester in black resin with ESD protection properties, are normally installed in the industrial plants, with potential hazardous area atmospheres of gases and combustible dusts, and therefore classified as Gas Group Zone 1 – 2 Dust Group 21 – 22.
The EJE series junction box and control station are made of Ex e and Ex tb enclosures in stainless steel, Carbon steel, aluminium alloy or glass fibre reinforced polyester resin, of various dimensions, which shall house Ex e and Ex i terminals and/or Ex e/Ex tb/Ex ia/Ex ib/Ex db eb components. They are used to accommodate switchgear, control gear and measuring instruments, as well as terminals intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits and may optionally be provided with actuator elements, indicator lights and inspection windows.
